Website policy
Cookie Policy
This page explains the cookies and browser storage used by PutyTa, and what happens when you visit another website.
What cookies are
A cookie is a small piece of information that a website can store in your browser and read on a later visit. Sites may also use browser storage to save information on your device. Cookies can remember a choice, keep a sign-in active, or measure advertising. PutyTa does not need those functions.
Cookies used by PutyTa
The published PutyTa pages do not set cookies. They do not use analytics cookies, advertising cookies, account cookies, or cookies that personalize the guides. There is no cookie banner because the website code does not ask you to accept a tracking cookie.
Browser storage
PutyTa does not use local or session browser storage to remember visitors. The mobile menu and guide navigation keep their open or closed state only while the page is open. That information is not saved after you leave or reload the page.
Contact form
You can submit a question without a cookie. The form does not create an account or a saved browser session. Repeated attempts are limited with a temporary server record, described in the Privacy Policy. That record stays on the server and is not placed in your browser.
Hosting-related technologies
A hosting provider can add its own operational cookie, such as a security or load-balancing cookie, even when the website’s own pages do not. No such cookie has been confirmed for putyta.com in this policy. If one is identified, this page should name its provider and purpose.
Third-party websites
Links to other sites, including the official PuTTY project, leave PutyTa. Those sites may set their own cookies. Their policies apply after you follow the link.
Browser cookie controls
Browsers usually let you view, block, and delete cookies from their privacy or site settings. Blocking cookies is not required to read the PutyTa guides. The guides remain available if cookies are turned off.
Future changes
If PutyTa later adds a cookie or browser-storage feature, this policy will be updated before that feature is described as part of the site. The date below is the current version.
Contact information
Questions about this policy can be sent to [email protected], by phone at +1 (570) 389-4005, through the contact form, or by mail to 400 E 2nd St, Bloomsburg, PA 17815, USA. PutyTa is independently operated by an individual, and that address is for correspondence rather than a walk-in location.
